Tinanong ng PEP. ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) si TJ Trinidad kung ano ang masasabi niya ngayong leading man siya ni Sarah Lahbati sa Kokak, ang serye sa GMA na magsisimula na sa Lunes, November 14.
"I feel great! Siyempre I feel great na pinili ako to be the leading man of Sarah kasi I know they're building up Sarah right now and it's nice to be paired up with someone na hindi ko pa nakakatrabaho.
"So I'm very excited," says TJ.
Hindi sila magka-edad ni Sarah; nahirapan ba siyang mag-adjust?
"Oh yeah, well alam mo yun, nag-workshop naman kami, just a process of getting comfortable with your co-actors.
"Tapos, ayun... you just have to try to be believable [in] your role.
"First taping day pa lang, nag-meet na kami, yung mga characters namin, so okay naman. I think mas gaganda pa.
"Alam mo yun, parang there's nowhere else to go but up, you know."
Ano ang tingin niya kay Sarah bilang baguhan?
"[She's] very, very determined to make it dito sa industriya natin and alam mo yun, she's so focused on work talaga.
"Hindi siya maarte, parang hindi siya kuntento na yung take na yun okay na, gusto niya talagang pagandahin pa.
"So I admire that, na it's not just about, you know, trying to be famous or, you know, the popularity.
"It's about the craft first, so I admire that."
HIS ROLE. TJ's role in Kokak...
"In a nutshell, ako yung actually... medyo may pagka-subservient ako, may pagka-under ako pagdating sa relationship, e.
"So medyo mahina yung loob ko and because of Kara, yung character ni Sarah, magiging confident ako, ipaglalaban ko yung pagmamahal ko sa kanya."
